pretty sure progress bar has some logarythmic scaling and shows only your actual level progression (e.g. it doesn't involve all EXP gathered before RL78 in your case)

Someone tried explaining the progress bar math to me once and I didnt fully understand it.
Most people would assume we could use it as a visual estimate of how much more time until we level up but it doesn't work well for that, especially at high levels.
