Most of the time it appears that the nodes in the Terminus Chamber are counting how many I've had in total across all simulations (I am on simulation 18).
However for Amphibians it seems to be counting how many I have in my current simulation. I have definitely had Amphibians in previous simulations.
Note, unsure if Molluscs are affected - this may be my only simulation where I have had them (my current universe is about as old as it's been days since the Mollusc update).
