1e7 mutagen out of nowhere

I logged in a few days ago and I checked my mesozoic valley and bam. 10 million mutagen. I don't know anything Abt this bug pls help

there has been one other case of this reported, the direct cause is currently unknown but this can happen if for whatever reason your mutagen counter corrupts (10 million is just the failsafe number for some reason)
unsure if that case was ever reported tho

I got this as well. Mutagen was around 1.0 E6 and I recently checked and it was at 1.0 E7. Because I don't watch my mutagen every day I can't tell when it exactly happened.

I recently made a suggestion to Semblance to consider some rebalancing with the mutagen costs of the higher ranked trait cards because the cost of the mutagen if you buy it with Darwinium is insane (75K mutagen costing 450 Darwinium which costs US$ 7.20 if you buy them with 5000 at a time. You will need 6.66 packs of mutagen which would cost almost US$ 48. And that is just to rank up one trait one level at the higher levels.)

I'm glad that I got enough mutagen now for a while. But if this is through a glitch then I still would have preferred a rebalance instead.

Takes ages to save up that much mutagen through geodes and ranking top 10 in events. Are we best off chilling and just hoping for the glitch?

I have no idea what triggered it. It was on game version 44_86 or earlier. I have been autoclicking Meso for weeks (on and off) and I have been opening all stone geodes that I was offered every day. But it may be totally unrelated to this.

But the sad thing is that, with 500 000 mutagen per rank up and there are still many trait cards that need to be ranked up in the future, not even 10 million mutagen will be enough. And at 50 prestige 10 you are out of many of the mutagen earners.

You Def don't need anywhere near 10M mutagen to get all the in game achievements.

Also if you're at level 50, getting mutagen through DW spend on diamond geodes is more efficient than buying it directly.

I know that. But that's not what I mean. I mean that if you want to rank up all trait cards from 14 to 20 (In the long term, I'm far from there) you will need to spend ungodly amounts, like thousands of US$ to get the required mutagen. This glitch helps, but I would prefer that the normal gameplay made this less of an issue.
