Hi, I need help recovering my account.
I previously played on iPhone and used Google Sign-In (Gmail) to save my progress. After reinstalling the game, the Google login option is no longer available, and it’s asking for email + password instead.
I never created a password earlier, and password reset emails are not coming through.
Could someone help me link my old Google account progress to a new login method?

I'm pretty sure your only option is to play on a device that allows you to log in with google, then create an actual in-game account with an email and password. if you can get the save then, then you can log in to that account on your phone to download your save file

I an able to login into my account via PC but there is no option to create any in game account with an email and password.
On my OG device , there is no google sign in option and forgot password functionality is not working ( as i am not getting any verification code via email )

Are you talking about the GooglePlay linking, or the Cross-platform Save account with Computer Lunch?
(snip from an android device, not sure what it looks like on an iOS one).
The two methods are different accounts. One is your GooglePlay account, the other is a Computer Lunch account (which may use a Gmail email account, but isn't the same as your GooglePlay account).

I think they've got an actual CtS account, but are using the "log in with google" option that doesn't exist on iOS. How I got it to work with a google email is by making an account where I manualy input my email and a password.
vaibhavs825, once you log in and download your save, log out (it's an option if you press "linked" in the crossplatform saves) and create a new account where you input an email and password manually, rather than signing in with google. I'm not sure whether you can use the same email address

I'm just struggling to make sense of it. They said they previously played on iOS device, and are still playing on one. I've been told that GooglePlay linking hasn't ever been a thing on iOS devices. And unless they're mistaken there's no way for them to create a CtS account without a password.
