Beyond episode 29 final generator not "collecting"

||the great attractor|| isnt collectable, I have the generator but when I try to "start" or "collect" it once the bar reaches the end it doesnt give me anything and shows no progress towards the final mission

I'm NOT saying that I cant unlock the generator

I'm saying that I cant COLLECT it

It used to be collectable at first, as I have collected it 1/10 times in the final mission

"collect" means buy

When I collected the generator for the first time (while the collected amount was still 0) it went up by one

Also whenever you manually collect a generator, a little text appears above the generator in the tree showing the amount you got, while this one doesnt show anything after it finishes

If they wanted the players to upgrade the generator 10 times then they wouldve just said to rank up the generator once

sounds to me like it was delayed from when you've bought it. I've never seen a mission to complete a certain number of generator charges

And I definitely recall seeing that being a thing at some point, but am not currently seeing it in either Beyond or Meso. I have a feeling it was changed in a recent update

I couldve sworn it was in earlier episodes in series 1

I'll empty out all the currency I have and see if the generator actually gives me anything

and I have actually seen a handful of screenshots from later episodes where it's collect X generators instead of rank 🤷‍♂️

Also if you have enough to buy more of the generator, see if the number for the mission increases

Unfortunately I've also seen a bug where buying more generators doesn't increase the quest counter, so that may not be reliable

but considering the Meso missions are "collect X dinosaurs" for buying a certain amount, I can only assume it's the same in Beyond

A text appearing over a generator when it produces income is a thing in the main tree in the primary simulation

you're right about that, but Primary's different because it's always income per second, instead of income per fill in Meso and Primary

I'll have to save up enough stardust to actually upgrade the last gen so I'll see later

@astral merlin a screenshot in the beta chat shows someone having to "collect" a certain amount of a certain planet but all it requires is just ranking them up
