Despite photo mode working fine two minutes before I had this issue, the exit button was hidden because the bottom bar showed up when it isn't supposed to.

Despite photo mode working fine two minutes before I had this issue, the exit button was hidden because the bottom bar showed up when it isn't supposed to.
Unable to leave photo mode because the bottom bar covered the exit button
By the way, restarting the game fixed the issue.
I just figured out that this glitch is sometimes caused by dragging the bottom bar up and quickly pressing the camera button
