#Metabit/Knowledge gain is inaccurate

When finishing a fill for metabit or knowledge, there's a flash of +[number] but the actual gain doesn't equal that number.
For instance, in the attached GIF, it goes from 633296 to 645212, but says +12136 instead of +11916.

I also tested and bought slowly which resulted in lesser Metabits or knowledge overall. When I rushed completely through it was more but not as much as the numbers indicated.
