When I leveled up from research level 69 I skipped 70 and went straight to 71. I got two research chips and now at 71 my XP bar is not getting any progression (blue circle bar)

I've been autoclicking for a bit and I still do not have a slither of a blue progress bar towards 72. Could it be that my XP is still at the range 70 to 71 so I need to fill an invisible XP bar to the "real" 71 and that I can start leveling towards 72 by then? It's a bit of a weird bug.

I don't think so, but I suggest that you need tons of exp to level up (normally it should be around that value x 1000 but yours need to be x1000000), and normally, the progress lvl 70 - lvl 71 is slower than lvl 71 - lvl 72, but in this case, the progress lvl 71 - lvl 72 still counts as lvl 70 - 71 so it is much slower

I still have not even a sliver of progress of my blue XP bar towards level 72. I dropped an e-mail to Support to see if they can help me.

Update: After a few days it suddenly started progressing again. I guess there is a dead zone in which the bar has zero progression (Probably the XP area of level 70 that I skipped) and after that it resumes again.
So if you're affected by it: You're not stuck for life but you can progress out of it.

That's right. It does not exist in the current version of the game. It should be fixed for the beta players but not for the main game players. It does not exist because of a bug / isssue.
