Oh, I am. But I get less and less metabits on the refund, am am now getting progressively less upgrades on the trade now. I'm about halfway to the 500 QI knowledge 6X multiplier, then I'll probably stop refunding altogether. I'm guessing a corrupted file, as no one else is reporting this problem. I'll quit playing before I start over. Not throwing away weeks of grinding .

ONLY metabits are affected. Knowledge gets refunded just fine.

The refund option is not for you to use all the time, but to change your strategy

On the last refund, it seems to have stabilized at an 8SX loss. The issue seems to have started when I got hit by the bug that gave you rewards as if you're a first time player. The problem with refund started when the game took those 20 or so research chips back. The game started acting funny after that.

Also possible that it's the result of upgrade price changes during patch.

Do you mean reboot/upgrade rather than refund? Refund is the thing at the bottom of the stats tab that resets your Reality Engine nodes.

Really at the point I'm at there's a diminishing return (meaning the upgrades I'm buying are getting me less, not the loss of metabits) thing going on so I'm refunding less, but once I hit 500 Qi knowledge, I'm cashing in for the Quark expansion.
