Is tarting with currency the effect of the Kickstarter node?

Just thinking here: Perhaps if you activate nanobots, then reset is that the nanobots will still be active in the new-empty simulation that you get after reset. You cannot see it yet because you still have to upgrade your reality engine but perhaps the new simulation is already there on the background with your nanobots in it generating some first income?
