Could you take a ss like this I may be able to help you
no i cant, as i said the game wont load
This part
Does this help?
ALr
Uhm
Try waiting a bit the newer version takes a bit to load
It should work fine because it isn't the other bug with the cookie
If it doesn't work after like 2 minutes in that loading screen try clearing your cookie
But PLEASE only clear the cookie if you have a recent save
Did it load?
Alr do you have a recent save to your cells account made?
i do not have an account and i will never make one as long as i can play w/o
uhm
So there is no fix to your problem exepct waiting it out
Id suggest you making an account if you are going to use web
for what?
Because you don't have an account you can't make saves of your game
Meaning that clearing your cookie would delete all your cells progress
Meaning that there is no way to fix the bug you are experiencing
but why does the game corrupt the lokal savegame in the first place?
what is this?
Because you don't have an account to save it to...
Why would is need to save it somewhere where i have no control over my information? Just save it here where I need it. My PC works just fine AND i have plenty of storage, dont u worry about that :D
...
at the end of the day this is a free game that i play for me, i just wanted to let the devs know that this problem exists :)
im not i a hurry
Now I got this. The update had been working for almost two days when the overflow issue forced me to reload the window and now I get stuck on the load screen with a stringify pointer issue.
I also get the same crash error when i try to run the game
Managed to manualy fix the issue by reimplementing the missing Unity/Emscripten function Pointer_stringify enough for the game to be able to run.
@slow python Well done. It got me interested but not interested enough enough to go the firemonkey route. It looks like bug fixing is allowed under the terms of service so if you have some pointers for solving this I'd be curious to know. Updating my unity installation to decompile source code or something breaches my level of commitment, but something simpler is worth exploring.
I think that this is a record for how long time has passed without an ability to actually play the game at all. This really should be an easy fix for devs.
its not fixed for you?
Still get the same issue.
idk if im allowed to post my fix here
So,@slow python was kind enough to share his fix in a DM and it worked like a charm for exactly 5 days
now the error is back and i had to reapply the fix
which still works btw
maybe his code would be something to be integrated into the game? ... fyi
Very strange that it is not possible to ping devs in the thread. Any ideas how to get attention to this so that there is a playable game available?
Hey can you send me a dm for troubleshoot?
@slow python I think that dm is best sent by you as you have the solution. I assume that this should be fairly simple to track down as a dependency issue with a deprecated Pointer_stringify() in Unity WebGL or something similar.
What is there to troubleshoot? im confused.
You are correct in assuming that it has been deprecated, https://docs.unity3d.com/6000.2/Documentation/Manual/web-interacting-browser-deprecated.html.
Hello, and thank you for the great game.
When I attempted to play, I experienced the same issue shown in the link above and was unable to play(PC browser-version).

It had been working normally until around UTC+0000.
I would like to report this.
Clear cookie...
It is probally the solution you will lose your save...
And no one has done it for some reason so I don't have a fix yet .-.
