Some upgrades are unavailable to buy after the reality update, and they don't seem to be related to any future unlockable (I.e. there is no "???" Translucent icon in the near in the tree).
Eagles and Vultures are two that I have identified, there is also one stemming from Flatworm, and some in the idea part of the tree.

The ??? nodes are to indicate future expansions, the missing nodes are simple upgrades that have not been added yet or are pending modification.

As I said, the non available nodes aren't in the vicinity of any "???" node. Plus in some cases make no sense: all of the neoaves are there except for these 3 nodes?
