It's good now except for one thing - in fullscreen mode, whenever I click on the far left edge of the screen, the game crashes and gives error messages, different from what I posted before. I tried a few other in-browser games and they were fine, so I don't think it's my laptop (even though it's pretty old).

If possible, create a backup in the cloud using your email address associated with the game (if you do not have one, create it), delete the cookies, and retrieve the copy from the cloud

I deleted the cookies for celltosingularity.com in Chrome, but it still crashed when I clicked on the left edge of the screen. Then I tried it in Edge, but no luck. Then I tried multiple browsers on our other computer, but it crashed every time. Sorry I don't have better news - let me know if there are other things you'd like me to try.
