#Beta 41_46 reduced idea rates

Hi,

I've seen that other people are missing unlocked nodes etc.

My rates have dropped dramatically. I've also tried multiple restarts, closing the app, and loading an old save

I've uploaded two images, one prior to the new update and one during.

I was able to make 1.5CC of idea bits quite easily (after a few hours), now I struggle to make 600AA

I have the same issue. I had all Martian upgrades and hundreds of Martian cities. Then went to beta (41_46). Did a reset that doubled my simulation speed. I left my computer running all night, autoclicking ideas and meteors (with infinity pass) and I still can't afford Magnetosphere. In the old game I could buy back all upgrades after reset in less than an hour.

about the missing reality engine nodes, we are investigate if only are visual bugged, or they are really changing the game multipliers

Maybe it was nerfed. But then it should have been communicated better. And this one is pretty unusual. When resetting the simulation, Players are used to quickly get back all the upgrades they had before the reset and continue on from there enjoying a faster simulation. If this is intentional it may have been better to just introduce a next generator that is extra expensive with expensive upgrades then players can slowly work towards that.

I'm missing futurist fission III unsure if I'm missing any others but I think so as I can't unlock the second reality capacitor.

my next futurist fission III upgrade was about 100CC now the whole thing is missing visually and in the list of multipliers so I think it's a bug. I appreciate that a rebalance was maybe needed, but I'm only level 68, to get to level 69 at my current fully maxed out rate will take about 7000 days

Same. Very reduced idea rate, about 1000x less. Now I cannot progress the knowledge tree at all, not even a little bit.

Something is very wrong with beta 41_46. I reset twice on there. Before the last reset I recorded a before and after. WIth the reset I upgraded my Semblance supercomputer as usual. This should make things faster and more profitable.

Before reset 280 Martian factory generates 1.07 E94/sec. After reset 280 Martian factory generate 8.36 E91/sec. I'm still at level 60.
In total I used to generate 3.05 E97/sec before reset. After reset I now get 2.30 E95/sec.
This is with the same upgrades except for the reality engine.

So resetting improved my entropy rate as expected but reduced my idea rate.

Well. The idea branch still feels terrible. But I upgraded things so I can't compare equal numbers. Did the devs confirm and fix the issues reported in 41_46? Have they tested it? What were their findings?

Entropy gain seems perfectly fine. But it's hard to compare because under entropy I got a new generator (Amphibians) with upgrades for it which now takes on a lot of the earnings there. So with entropy there is a lot of improvement.

But if you ask me: I think there is a bug in the reality engine where somehow making upgrades actually downgrades only the idea rate. As posted in the screenshot in my post above. It was with the same version. Same upgrades on the idea tree. Same number of Martian Factories and it generated much less.

The only difference was a reset inbetween with upgrades to the Semblance reality engine.

After a reset I have to do a lot of boosting and autoclicking on Mars just to get my upgrades Atmospheric Alteration and Fully Terraformed Environment back. Before the beta this was no issue. (And 41_46 was my first step into the beta, so I cannot talk to anything beta before that build)

I did another reset in 41_65, upgraded my Semblance supercomputer a bit and boosted back to all upgrades for the Idea tree (Including fully Terraformed Environment) back with Darwiniums just to make these screenshots so the devs can compare against the previous version.

I deleted the save again and reverted to my previous savegame because this is not how I want to spend my Darwiniums. I hope this is helpful.

My idea and entropy rates are slowly but steadily climbing over time. Even when I don't buy generators or upgrades. I guess I'm not fully understanding Semblance yet.

The issue that remains is that it takes significantly longer to reach the "Fully Terraformed Environment" in comparison to the main game. It may be by design but if it stays like this you (The devs) may get some questions of players why it takes longer to regain their upgrades they had before reset in the main game (Pre-Reality Reboot)

I did another reset a few days ago and this time I could get to the "Fully Terraformed Environment" without issue. I don't know if they fixed the balance or if this is just due to the upgrades I made to the simulation in the mean time but for me this issue is over now.
