Hi, I'm having a weird bug in my game? For context, I play thru mobile. I had a bunch of badges, achievements, ECT, but my backup nuked itself from orbit. And the save kinda sorta did, it got stuck re-loading to reset the universe and treated my save like it was new but keeping my level progress in the dinosaur and outer space extra bits. It has also unfortunately kept where it thinks I need to earn bits to get the metabits the same even though I can't because it wiped all of my main universe main map stuff (fungi, cats and dogs, all of it) plus all progress on the extra things that happen every few days. I don't know if it's better to do a full hard reset to even have a prayer of getting the green stuff in or what, since my backup was both old and toast.
I checked and as far as I know I'm playing on the most recent game version. I play on a google pixel if that changes anything in this.

I'm hoping that there's a magic button hidden in the settings that fixes the problem bc I don't want to look at my world map and be sad bc I'm missing all the progress I made from grinding
Some images that help show how weird the problem is. I'll admit my first response was "if I grind back to getting to the reset screen and reset that might sort itself out" which it did not. Also included are some of the things that I should have but don't - images showing me having them I don't have bc I simply never thought I'd need to get them.

I can't help, but I've seen the cells team help others with this sort of problem before. Don't be too disheartened.

@night bobcat thank you, my save deleting itself was a definite bummer but as long as there's hope I'll keep hoping! ☺️
For anyone else with this problem:
Go into your local saves and see if any of the saves are both good and are the one right before your saves break. You might lose a smidge of progress but you won't lose ALL progress.
