I have both the scientific and word styles of numbers showing in the Semblance Upgrade screen. I was pulled from Alpha (new save) into Beta (primary, prior save) and have not altered settings. This will be my first attempt at fixing this issue.

I was also able to upgrade some of these Research nodes while the simulation was still running. I didn’t realize it until just now.
When I tried to change number settings, the target value for leveling up and converting metabits remained in Scientific, no matter what style I selected.
The cost values above did not change at all, no matter what style I changed to.

It's not a bug. Above a certain numerical value, scientific notation is used because very large values may exceed the box size and makes the dev team work easier
