Part of the game experiencing issues: new producer unlock

Steps to reproduce: Reboot sim upon turning on the beta, try to purchase the Sponge.

Description:
Just switched over to the beta and rebooted my sim, trying to progress through early game but every time I try to buy the Sponge, the game locks up and prevents me from continuing, forcing me to close the program and booting me back to before I bought the Sponge. The game itself appears to not be fully frozen, as keyboard inputs still generate Entropy (featured in the recording).

as extra info i suppose, it happens with all the popups not just the sponge ones

same for me, its the popup which then block me from getting anything else:

try to use the max purhace option from the side menu (if you have the side menu before it) that worked for me on the jellyfish

I dont have the side menu, it only pops at the same time as I buy the sponge. but I will try

yeah idk what i did but after a few restarts i did get past the sponge

for me its fully blocked, not even keyboard is getting through.

i was not able to close it either, i just at some point waited like 2 minutes then closed the game and opened it back up and it had saved me having the sponge and not giving the box again

ill try to do different stuff again once i reach the next box xd
