I reached the final (AFAIK) generators for the first time yesterday. Before going to sleep I activated a comet (tap power x30), and it had a visual glitch where a few of the tap numbers remained on screen - two of them static and one of them continuously animating. (Unfortunately I don't have a pic/video of that.) When I woke up this morning, after doubling my overnight earnings, I'd accrued ~83M metabits. But the visual glitch from the comet was still there, so I force closed the app. When I restarted the game, I only had ~19M metabits. I seem to have lost ~64M metabits. 😭

Here's a screenshot showing the discrepancy. You can see from the tree that I've only bought a handful of upgrades. In the main simulation I've unlocked Glires and Stonehenge. So in total I spent <100 metabits before my overnight earning spree. And yet, this screenshot would have you believe that I've spent ~64M metabits.
Another curious thing is that the main simulation shows a different metabit exponent (e2 vs e8).
Finally, the game currently thinks that my cumulative earnings are ~578 Dc. I'm not sure whether that corresponds to the 83M or the 19M metabits.

Nope. You can see from the screenshot that I've only bought a few upgrades. And Glires and Stonehenge cost less than 20 combined. In total, I've spent fewer than 100 metabits. What else could I have possibly spent them on, anyway?

Yeah, it's weird. I just hope the devs can restore my missing metabits. We know exactly what I've bought, so we can determine the exact number of metabits I've spent, and we know my lifetime earnings, so we can determine the exact number of metabits I should've generated. If the devs are able to edit my save accordingly, then we're golden
