Went through first play on Steam last night (played before on mobile a few times)
Got pretty far, then to be sure about saving I went to the option menu and clicked the 'Save Manager'
It overwrote whatever progress I had a loaded from almost the start of the game, huge demotivation to keep playing after losing hours on that.

Hey, Did your progress disappear right after clicking the Save Manager, or did you do something like a save restore or download from the menu?

I think I restored, so it's less of a bug and more of a ux observation
I'm on version 31_37
It does say 'local backups' and download to this device - to me this meant I was saving my game and the guidance to this screen suggests it is for saving
I've started again today anyway so no bother, just wanted to alert you guys that it felt very natural to use that flow to save my game
