Sidebar hides itself after resetting in Mesozoic

For a second or so after you start a new extinction in Mesozoic, if you open the left sidebar (I did it with tab key), it immediately closes. The game still thinks it's open, so pressing tab again "closes" it internally and does nothing visually, and another tab press opens it again. If you do it fast enough, the sidebar will get hidden several times as long as it's within that short period after restarting.
It becomes annoying when you're blasting through extinctions at high prestige and you're forced to wait that second every time.
