Previously, both random dino-specific trait cards that were purchasable were of a type that could be immediately used. This held even efter my first few resets. Recently, however, it's offered me like Mosasaurus speed when on lvl 25. I tested buying it last round and when the trait was unlocked due to me levelling up far enough, the trait card itself was gone so I couldn't use it to upgrade anyway. Seems like you should limit the available cards in that pool to being the same as geodes can output.
