Every time i go to the BEYOND the game just crashing.

bumping since I'm having a similar issue, loading into the Beyond seems to place an insane load on the device CPU for some reason, steam version had my CPU jump up to 60% on both high quality and power saver, and the window showed as not responding while the load happened (no noticable difference in CPU load between the two, duration of the loading screen might've been different though). I'm unsure if it's the main cause of my other issue with the app crashing in the Beyond frequently in bluestacks, but even if that's unrelated the sheer CPU load is disproportionate to every other part of the game

potential clue to why ads are also causing crashes - loading an ad seems to also spike CPU usage somewhat, but honestly I have no clue if that's related to something the app is doing or just the ads doing that on their own

if the game is redundantly reloading something when it loads an ad then I would expect to see significantly more of a CPU usage spike from ads in the Beyond than other sims, will test that when I get ads in the Beyond next

ok no the cpu spike when the ad starts was the same between the Mesozoic and the Beyond so it's unlikely the game is like redundantly loading anything, it's most likely the reason I was seeing more ad crashes in the Beyond was just because the baseline CPU usage is higher in the Beyond so if a particularly shitty ad loads it's more likely to spike to a point where it's an issue

the fact that there's some CPU increase when loading an ad does suggest that the crashes might be related to CPU usage hitting some critical point though, since a lot of the crashes I've seen in the Beyond are either while loading in or while trying to load an ad

i noticed that after a update (don't remember which one, was at most 40 days ago), the beyond starting taking significantly longer to load (and the "celltosingularity.exe is not responding" thing appears for a few seconds before it manages to load)

ok the ad crashes are at least in part just because people code shitty ads in shitty ways so they cause glitches and shit, had an ad crash in mesozoic valley and I didn't see a significant CPU usage spike or anything (although I wasn't looking closely, it might've gone away before I even realized)

I really wish mobile game ads weren't so scummy, but I realize the devs have limited if any influence on what ads are shown
