So you can play events but you lose progress at the end ?
That sounds like internet connection related issue, I don't have problems in my end and i can purchase darwiniums fine
so probs your wifi issue and not C2S bug
It is happening only with this game. I am able to play all other games just fine. I am also not getting a player ID.
Yes. My player ID is no longer visible, and everytime I launch this game, I get this error. Someone else posted in general chat that they have this issue too.

I'm thinking that once you pass a certain progression point, the problem should disappear
The error pop up once in a while. The game works, but the progress will not save.
Is your player ID visible? Able to open and buy purple gem in item mall?
My ID is indeed visible, the purple gem shop opens for me as well

Hey could you go into the steam game settings menu and try verifying the integrity of the game files to see if that fixes your issue ?

I have done that and also tried reinstalling the game. I still get this issue. Deleted my old save as well.
Yes, another issue. I could not delete the game account. Not a serious issue.
Until today my player ID was not generated, but now it is visible. I will reinstall the game and update you tomorrow. Maybe the issue is resloved now.
Hmm this is weird, you're encountering a cascade of a couple different issues here.
- Player ID not being present
- Unable to purchase items from the steam store
- Losing event progress due to loss of player ID
- Unable to delete your game transfer save
For now could you please share your current player ID and your rank on the previous event so that I can compensate you for your previous event ?
I would also require the email you used for your game transfer account to investigate the issue behind your delete save error
My player ID is gone again. The pop-up error message is back and I am still not able to make any purchases. I have deleted all my previous saves and playing on a new one. Can I PM you my email ID? Also, do not worry about the event and compensation.

I think I was somewhere in the 30s or 40s in rank when I couldn't see my rank innthe event going on rn, and my player id was coming on and off here and there, I restarted the game on my tablet a few times and got the same error there so :(
P.s., I transferred my data, but I still can't see the leaderboards. No error now

I got a new pc and lost all progress my progress as well.
There's unfortunately no steam support and it looks like I got given a completely new account, despite having more than 270 hours on the one I'm wanting to get back
Further info: New pc has windows 11 instead of 10, and I have bought gems on the previous account.
Hey do you have access to your old PC ? we have a "Save Restore" option that has several of your old saves that you can recover
I have the harddrive. It is just not connected and I'm not sure if Cell to sungularity or steam for that matter is on it. If I find it on that disk. Is there a specific folder I would have to look for to copy to the new installed place?
alternatively, have you created a Game Transfer account ? you could also download it from there
all data related to your saves are usually in %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Computer Lunch folder, although I still recommend checking if you have any option to use an older save from inside your game before poking the save folders
and we're working on fixing this error, unfortunately rn the temporary workaround is just restarting the game multiple times (it'll go away after couple restarts)
if I do this, would it be possible to load from steam cloud eventually?
Accessing my harddisk isn't my easiest option sadly. But I'll poke back if I am able to.
