Closing game without acknowledging offline earnings loses earning

If I leave the game open for "too long" then it'll freeze (I blame proton) and if it freezes right as I get the "You've been offline. Collect your offline earnings" box, then I have to close the game and re-open it, but it counts the box as shown but my currency count remains the same
