I am watching adds to get boosts for the limited time explorations, and most of them won’t close and the x doesn’t work. I have to close the app and then the boost doesn’t get added. It’s a select few adds that do this, one is Goggles4U

Hello @fading flint - This probably depends on the ad, not on the way that Cells shows the ad. Many ads will wait a while for the x to appear, and the x will only work when clicked very exactly. If the X is broken, doesn't do anything, that's a little different. Could you take a screenshot or video? Also, what is your device and operating system?

Alright, I have a Samsung A32. What usually happens is that the x never appears and the ad shows “one second until ad is over” or something in the corner forever. The only way to get back onto the game is by closing it and then I don’t get the boost. It’s usually some glasses advert but there are a few less common ones. I haven’t had it so much recently but I’ll try and look

Thank you, @fading flint . With that description--that particular ads always have it, most don't--it's almost certainly the ad itself that is broken, and there's nothing that we can do about that on our side.
However, you can! If there is a button to "report ad", then you should use that. Enough of those reports and the people serving the ads to us will take it down. We are planning a feature that would let us review and block individual ads, but we don't have that built yet. Until then, just report them through the ad.
