As can be seen from one of the screen shots, I have not purchased The Trojan Horse. It has a price in Darwinium below it, and I never clicked on it anyways. But the second picture clearly shows that I have in fact built it.
This is in version 23_08.

Same for me. I also bought Hanging Gardens first, looked them up in the tree view and there was no Trojan Horse next to them.
Then I saw this bug report, opened the store, tapped on Trojan Horse (with only 24 Darwinium) and the buy button.
Then the Trojan Horse was there, without any Darwinium spent. 23_08 on Android.

My apologies for the delay. To reply to your message, I went into the Logit store, purchased the Hanging Gardens, and then I went back into the Tech Tree, and bought the Hanging Gardens (after clicking on all of the new prerequisites), and then I saw that the Trojan Horse had a holographic outline just like the Hanging Gardens had before I clicked on them. So I clicked on it to see what would happen, and the game gave it to me.
I can restart my simulation to see if it happens again if that would be helpful.

We found the issue, we are working on a fix, and should be resolved on the next beta build.
