Carina constellation not providing stated update

I completed the Carina constellation, and it stated that it was supposed to speed up Supernova objects by a factor of 1.5. However, the Crab Nebula generator, which is listed as a supernova object, did not speed up. It's generation cycle time remained at 5.2 seconds both before and after completing the constellation. I even tried clicking on another object, and the cycle time still did not update.
