Loading players failure in Exploration Hub

I started today’s event without internet, and when I went to join the multiplayer once I was back online it repeatedly gave me this stuck loading screen.

Ive tried reloading the app, no fix. Anything I can do?

iPhone 12, iOS 16.2

I have a similar problem, but it happens for all events, regardless of my connection
