My game process got reset, all progress lost

Not sure what happened exactly, I was switching to the main simulation when all process got lost.
The simulation speed is still there, but valley and beyond simulations are lost too.
Is there a way to recover the save?

I have the same problem. I've open the game passing by steam and have to restart from the beginning. But I've in the steam page achievements and 140 hours of time in game

Use the built-in save restore feature

There's a save restore button in the side panel, below game transfer

The build in save resotre feature helps, but still some progress is lost.
Happened again next day.

Were you able to figure out why the progress loss took place? What were you doing before the progress loss happened and approximately how much progress did you end up losing ?

around a day worth of progress.

I'm keeping the game running for a long time. Then after couple of hours I switch back to the primary simulation and all the progress is rest.

I had a similar issue, but everything in that also got completely wiped.
