This has also happened on my Steam version, Beta 21_58 Windows 10.
+1
+1. Android and Steam both
Has nothing to do with the internet - some other kind of bug
Same on Beta 21_51 on Android 11
No event tab, Exploration button says "connect to internet", for a few hours I had broken (no textstrings at all, icons only) 'Music' event, now it's gone also
same for me Beta 21_58 Windows 10
+1 iOS 21.51
also what does +1 do
Is anyone seeing this bug on non beta version ?

We've figured out the issue. It'll be fixed soon
I'll keep you updated on this thread
๐ฅ
Aditya, thanks for the feedback. Just curious, are you able to divulge what the root problem was?
Hey guys, we fixed the issue. Can you access the event now?
I'm playing it right now. Thanks!
I have this bug. Yesterday the internet connection in the game disappeared. Because of this there are no events. My internet is fine, I am writing here. Steam version, tried both beta and regular 27_31.
Plz help ๐
can you restart your game? are you using an external tool or VPN by anychance?
What do you mean "restart the game"? I rebooted my computer and router - it didn't help.
I don't use VPN. But I do use GoodbyeDPI and yes, I launched it just yesterday.
Closing out and reopen the game.
Can you disable GoodbyeDPI and try again?
Well, disabling GoodbyeDPI really helped, how could I not have thought of it ๐ But for a number of reasons I have to use it, is it possible to make the game not conflict with it?
Some times third-party apps might mess up the game connections to our external servers. We try our best to be compatible with most of them, but we don't have control of all of them.
Can you tell me the addresses of the servers that the game uses for cloud saving and access to events? I'll try to configure GoodbyeDPI
mostly Playfab
I am having this issue on my android phone, but only when connected through my home wifi. If i use my cell data or the wifi at my parents' (which is a much newer route) i can enter the exploration hub just fine.
My router is a Netgear JWNR2010v5 using the latest firmware, which was released in 2018. Do i need to forward a specific port? Or could some setting be interfering with the connection?
How fast is your home wifi? I'm not saying what you have contracted, but how fast is your wifi speed? If you don't know, you can use this tool https://www.speedtest.net/
52.7 Mbps down @ 9 ms.
I found that i can set individual apps to only use the cell network. That removes the annoying part of the issue (switching wifi on and off), but it would still be nice if that wasn't necessary ๐
I also started to wonder if it could be an issue with my ISP or DNS. I think i've had problems with that before. It would be nice if i could monitor individual network requests and see what happens to them, but i'm not sure how to pull that off.
Currently having this issue too.
It was working fine earlier today.
I don't know how related it it - but since connection issue started the game has also refused to close properly, instead freezing and requiring a task manager to force it to close.
Well after an hour it looks like it resolved itself.
And it looks like the connection issue must of been responsible for the freezing since the game closes properly now too.
I found an app called NetGuard which can intercept all network requests. I ran Cells for a while on my wifi, and then for a while on my mobile network and compared the connections made (see text file).
There seems to be some aws server that my local network can't access. Though i don't know if that's because of my router or my ISP.
edit: Actually my parents have the same ISP and the exploration hub worked on their wifi, so it's probably my router.
i am getting error or "internet connection" even when everything is work.
any solution to this
The problem may be coming from your ISP, i don't really know. This error only happens to a few people
