Theres three bugs i've seen happening in the deep sea life event, however not exclusive to deep sea life event, im gonna list the bugs now:
- Ranks not showing correctly. With the first picture you can see how I was at Student 1, and then in the second picture Master 2, what I am in right now. In the end i will tell you how these bugs sort of occured.
- Players not showing in leaderboards at all. In both picture you can see how theres 3 people missing, this again, happened with the reason mentioned at the bottom of the bug report
- Percentage gets reset back to 0%. This post (https://discord.com/channels/488478892873744385/1168642361665015908) has already reported this, however even tho it was fixed according to gryffin it wasnt fixed for me sadly. My percentage was set to 0% with again, the reason below that might have been the cause
The reason of these bugs happening?
Well i was having troubles loading the leaderboards, it was not loading at all, then I've decided to switch to mesozoic valley (Not the direct cause, its just the simulation I went to) and switched back, and once it loaded, it only showed the 11th place and 15th place, then after a while that 11th place went to 9th place, then it showed lots of players, (Multiple missing), and me, with 0%, once i bought Ocean Exploit (Again not the only Upgrade that could fix this), it set myself to 29%, around how far i was.
One player also managed to get to 100% in 2 minutes, EXACTLY then the leaderboards were struggling, which made me switch over.
I hope this is explained enough, to any player also experiencing the exact same bugs on steam, please tell me so i can change the tags appropriately, thank you!
