Before I closed the game I had completed like half of Ethics and like 20% of Political Philosophy and after around a hour I reentered the event snd had inf questions (before I left I didnt had infinite questions)

I've encountered the same bug and my Darwinium was down to zero and the rest is same like how TheDarkKing mentioned. Are we going to get our Darwinium back?
EDIT: I'm was latest beta build of that time

I have the same bug as well but all the progress for all simulations reset even darwinium, logits and metabits reset
