This is on Android, version 21_11, but also has been in the previous version(s) and in the last beta.
The yellow aureolas sometimes do not disappear when the time for the auto-tap event (or whatever it is called) is up. I managed to get up to five yellow aureolas, see the screenshot. This does not happen always, but when it happened once, they seem to accumulate. Also, purple aureolas will not show up on those items anymore (or I just can't see them, because they are behind the yellow ones).
I have not found out what triggers this behavior: I tried changing the view from tree to solar system, clicking a golden comet, watching an add to quintuple the payout, claiming a mission while the auto-tap was in effect.

This has been added to our bug tracking system as the issue CELL-1487. As we resolve that issue, updates will be posted back here.
