I had the game minimised and came back to this strange unity error, then the game crashed. What does it mean? I've never seen it before

This was on Steam on my PC. I’m not sure how I triggered this, I wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary. Overnight sometimes I will minimise the game and open it up again when I wake up. Today when I opened up my laptop, this was there

But it did update when I reopened it after it threw up the error and crashed

Was all your ingame progress intact?

It didn't save my progress on the dodos, and the music exploration seems to have reset

the dodos one was a bug that we patched, the music exploration reset is intended

let me know if you encounter this bug again, This bug should fix itself after a reinstall of the game

Will do! It was really quite shocking because I'd never encountered any error like this before, and there was no text or anything haha

this isnt just cells to singularity i play a few other games where this is happening, it has something to do with either steam or unity
