I'm not sure if that is a bug, but i'll report it anyway. So yesterday i was playing c2s and found almost all the dodo's, and i left(the game). On the next day i rejoined c2s and saw that all the dodo's i found did not save. Now i need to find them again. Is that how it's supposed to be? I didn't screenshot it, so no photo, sorry:/

Same here; one difference: I had finished the first Dodo hunt and started with 56/66 yesterday. Today, reset to 0. Achievement is still unlocked, though

Same, I had the achievement from the first time around though so I thought only redoing the civ garden was normal, and it somehow reset

For more detail, I had finished the event last year, and yesterday I went to do the event and there was 0 dodos left in all but the civ garden (which I assumed was the case due to completing the event before, and having to redo the ones in the reworked garden). Today, I opened the game to play the event, and noticed the dodos were back in all the gardens. (I assumed this had something to do with being offline at the time I opened the game.) I have completed the event for a second time, which was a fun challenge, but I feel like it wasn't intended behavior. I will have to check tomorrow and see whether it resets again.

I think everyone else should give details on starting points yesterday, because it's currently unclear

I completed the dodo challenge, achievement was unlocked for more than a day. Today when i opened the game, achievement is still unlocked however found dodos are 0/66

the second time I've found dodo the game saved it.. now I'm 66/66 with achievement and no more reset 👍🏻

Any ideas why the dodos only appeared in the earth/mars/sun screen? I got those three, but in every other location, there are none anywhere. I thought they might pop up over time, but looking at prior years' videos I see they're supposed to be there. :/

Yeah they are supposed to be there, maybe it'll reset and you'll actually play the event

I didn't play the dodo game in prior years, so...just a bug, and I've reset a few times...
