Hello the new time based race event seems to have a mechanism to allow people to cheat. This person in the group finished the event in a time too fast and their player circle never moved from the start

Could be cheating, could be a lot of time warps, 4x boost, nanobots, and buying from the panel instead of the tree

True but then why did their player icon which moves with progression just not move and stay at the start

Also why does it say they played 2937 days? Or do speedups increase the play time clock?

Buying from the panel, I assume that would do that (I haven't reset the sim to buy the leaderboard upgrade yet)

They do, usually not that much, but sometimes

That's the problem, it's impossible to tell between the time boosting unpredictably large amounts and a cheater

Might want to change the game tracking so you can tell, unusual activity/ increase in player darwinium without spending money? Should be easy enough to see if they spend money and if they boost huge amounts every event. If they are spending money no problen.

I feel like it wouldn't be that hard to track, but the implementation might be harder than it would seem

Unless they're getting lazy, because I feel like it wouldn't take more than a few hours

I used 4x over the last 9 hrs, used nanos only when given to me by 15 min timer (probably 10 times), only saw 3 ads for golden pollen ball (accidentally, while tapping), and I’m at +14hrs at finish line.

Ok so the timer is definitely bugged, but unfortunately it could still be a cheater, and we wouldn't know

Nowadqys those things dont change qnythig in races

For me atleast because i took 1 day 4 hours and i got the completion time as 1 day 4 hours

Hey, I figured it out.
It happened to me today.
I was in the Philosophy event today at transition time. The event switched from Beta-only to Live Play, and I didn’t exit the event.
The computer didn’t notice, and I only needed to complete “What Is the Question” as one last research item.
When I clicked on it, I finished the Beta Race AND the Live Play Race at the same time.
From my perspective, it said it took 6d15h to complete the event, and gave me Logits for completing the race first.

I would consider this an exploit.
Probably accidental the first time anyone does it.

Okay, now I’m really confused.
I restarted / updated, and now I’m in the Tea event, so it wasn’t the Philosophy event that I won, but the Tea event, on some level?

Apparently…? I was still in Philosophy, and I could see a tea kettle float by at one point.
I got rewards for completing Philosophy in one of the top places, but then I hit the Tea event and it started me over.

The kettle in the philosophy event is either from time cheating or bugs, so you're in an event but the real time states it's already another.
