I completed the tea event in 16 hours and 55 minutes but for some reason it added a whole other year to the timer…

Btw I didn’t use any Darwinism

I've got to know how you can do it so fast. I used some darwinium but it's been a day for me and I just don't get how you finish it so fast

I was grinding it all day. I watched ads to get myself to overdrive throughout the whole time. Also another major helper is the nanobots they actually gain quite a bit. But yeah I was just spending my currencies wisely, usually on the generators that produce the most of that currency at the moment. I also checked on the game ~every 20-40 minutes just to quickly spend my currencies and turn on the nanobots. Yeah that’s it I think (also keep in mind I got the game about 3 years ago but I had it uninstalled for a long time until 2 days ago when I got it again so this is my first time actually trying in the event)

The 4x boost and nanobots increase the time, it seems to be unpredictable though

This is just frustrating… also why is the person in 3rd ahead of the one in 4th despite having less completion??

Same issue here, completed it in less than 24h, but it shows mpre than 6 days.

Darwinium I used 2x.

But this should not change my result.

I think they made it on purpose that when you use Darwinium it also contributes to your time in the event. But maybe there’s still a bug for both of us

Could be, but makes no sense. On the one hand you get rewarded when watching ads for being a supporter of the game and then on the other hand you get a penalty for doing the same.

Same thing happened to me. I watched adds to boost and double the offline progress. Used Darwinium a couple times. Says it took me 160 days…

Before I finished the event I had an in game time of 1day and 14hours but when I finished it said I took 5 days 8h. I never used darwinium.

I was 3rd to finish. Am now 6th. Also there does seem to be a penalty for using Darwinium. I used it to to get "x2 income boost 4 hours" 4 times for a total of 16 hours. Says it took me 30 days 3 hours.

Also I play on Steam so no commercials.

Does the time that eventually gets displayed include time from time fluxes? Where is this detailed?

I don't think it is detailed anywhere except in bug reports mentioning this topic, but afaik anything that is a boost is added to the time, except maybe badges, but I don't know about those

Eta: even if this is a "non-bug," those folks are awarded logits for being able to flux and speed through the event? Think this still needs work...

I've not been able to collect any logits yet even though I'm on the leaderboard. I assumed that was intentional becuase the order can change

I was able to collect logits and spend them. Wandering, if I would loose some after others finish with "better time". It would be interesting to be in negative sum of legits. 😯

Well I think I will continue to play events MY way regardless of penalties or ranking. I earn so many logits any way.

So the ones I know increase the time are nanobots, 2x and 4x boosts, and the three darwinium time skip things (I forget what their called)

Ranking is just for fun, you don't have to pay any attention to it

I don't buy darwinium and only use free ones to boost during events. I save them for that porpose because otherwise events are too slow. I am impatient I guess lol

I think that the penalties were in place before this beta because I noticed increased times when I finished events.

Erm i used time boost and fluxes and literally anything you could buy with darwinium but i only got 5 days

I don't buy darwinium either, and I'm also impatient. It's fine, you can play the game however you want. The point is having fun.
