back to the game after quite the break just to find out that my progress is LOST
i just want to know if i can recover it or not

First of all, try using "restore save" option in the menu, if it doesn't work, contact lunch@computerlunch.com

But If you uninstalled it in the meantime, I don't think the restore save option will help
