a lot of people dislike ur idea rip
quaterpl worst ending he must never show his face in public
Very few or no people here know him in person (presumably), so that shouldn't be a problem
If anyone doesn't like the suggestion, they should explain why
Tbh I don’t think they would fit into CtS since they would make the core point of the game weirdly more complicated and unnecessarily drawn out but they would probably work in a different clicking game which is more designed around these ideas
Why do people dislike this idea
I think it’s really good for late game players
When they basically unlock everything and have nothing todo
I think cuz it's presitge
hahs are thinking
I know that this idea isn't necessarily on the topic of the game, but so far developers make any bigger tree a totally different simulation. If it doesn't change then this idea is good since primary is really easy and short (even though it has the biggest tree of them all)
Honestly devs should do one of those things:
- Add something similar to what I've suggested
- Make primary takes longer than now, which would most likely upset some players, especially new ones
- Start adding new content into primary (not small like artifacts but like plants etc.) And make it available for late-game players and leave the beginning just like it is
I'll gladly accept all criticism, and will try to explain my thinking behind my suggestion
I prefer this, than not knowing why people don't like my suggestion
Basically be brutally honest why you don't like it
hmmmmmm
honestly they should just add more content no shit prestige or artifical inflation
It’s the exact same reasoning with the meso hard core suggestion. I think getting 550 ranks already took way too long to do on its own and adding another layer of prestige’s that doesn’t make it easier but harder to progress is going to a big minus point should it be added and almost nobody would do it (I would still do it as I’m a all achievement grinder). And also what the guy above me as I’m writing this said. We are doing it all again and again just to get One singular point to increase production by a whole lot but I don’t want my complete progress my achievements my ranks everything I’ve accumulated just vanish for what is basically just faster progression. It doesn’t feel like it’s worth doing. I feel like compared to most clicker games this game has a type of definite stopping point. At least in meso, beyond and the events. The main sim can still be continued and increased like normal clikcer games but at some points you will hit an indefinite wall which is the main sims end point. Meso beyond and the events only go so far before they are over. The extra achievements for amount of something is for those who want all achievements and information but reaching 550 ranks which took soooo long, is a statisfiying end and gives a large boost to the main sim. Why do I want to do it all again but slightly slower or faster?
However it would be interesting to see how you ideas would look like in execution. Like a mathematical graph or mod of the game (like that’s ever gonna happen (I mean nobody has made mods for this game))
If I'm gonna be honest, I feel like you summarize only the first part of my suggestion which is definitely repetitive, I agree
About the second part though, the primary feels to me too fast, and with those hard resets (still talking if only primary had them) we would be able to buy new branches like plants, maybe even rocks and similar.
The first part of the suggestion probably makes people vote that they don't like it instantly (at least I feel like it) but if devs would've introduced the second part of my suggestion into the game, it would make it easier to add more branches without late game players unlocking them in instant, and also would add a reason to actually do that hard reset
They add new content only for it to be bought by late game players in like 10 minutes... sounds bad to me
I think the second suggestion is great, late game players, unless they make an alt, probably don't remember the main sim early game grind. And tbh, the main sim late game grind is kind of boring imo. So having a main sim hard reset would be a fun and optional addition, one that can be incentivized with new unlocks or even branches, like in the suggestion.
In fact, optional resets could also be applied to meso and beyond, like beyond jump. You would be able to jump back to a selected rank/prestige that you've passed and replay it, get to experience it again without making a new save and grinding up to that point. However, if you do this, any progress you made past that point might be lost (depending on what the people say).
second sug is kinna nice, first one is HEWWWW NAWWW
i will absolutely lose my mind if everything resets like that
i do not have enough endurance to do something like that
There are still some people who would like it
(Like me, I like suffering)
Then make it more expensive
Making it more expensive will make it more hard to reach for new players which isn't a good idea
Have u ever heard of having certain upgrades be harder to get unless ur a certain level?
Like with how u had to progress in metsbits to get mammals
A new player doesn't have to unlock everything from the start
For example giant squid
Even if u do buy it with logits u still need a lot of metabit upgrades and boost to be able to buy it in main sim
So u have to progress
Even if u were mid or early stage player
U would have to advance to be able to afford it
I mean, end game players basically have a shit ton of metabits etc. Which took quite a while to accumulate
We still don't even know if it'll be possible to get 1 Qa in the future (and they might also decrease that 1 Qi upgrade if you're wondering about that)
Then basically give these new but expensive upgrades a boost so late game players can get it through work
For now, new players can eventually reach end game players level, but remember that most of us played for few years and left primary going for a long time
Yes but new content came popping up so late game players got kicked back and had to complete the new content to become late game again
So essentially we have to keep boosting what late game means
If we add a shit ton of content then late game players probably wouldn't be late game anymore
We can always boost the cost
Basically I assume the late game for primary is when you buy the upgrade for 2T metabits
I assume
Btw it's hard to quantify a late game player
When you hit trillions it's quite a lot
But if we're talking about the whole game, yeah, it's hard to say what's late game and what isn't
Good
I have an alternate suggestion: Allow resets of Meso and Beyond with no reward.
After 10 prestiges in Meso, allow another 10 or 20 or 100, but don't give climate warming for completion. Make each step require 2-5 more dinos but that's it. Don't give a bonus to primary. Don't add extra achievements. Just give grinders something to do.
After completing the last episode of Beyond, allow it to be reset, but increase the cost of everything by 20%. Again, don't have achievements or bonuses or anything; just add more grinding for the sake of grinding. When a new episode comes out, reset the costs and start the new episode. The new episode might be a little easier to start because of the extra grinding, but that should level off pretty quickly.
That's it for my suggestion. No real new content. No point to it (though arguably there's no point to the any games) other than letting people feel like they're doing something while waiting for the next episode. It wouldn't be for everyone, but there would basically be no penalty for those who choose not to replay the same content.
No
This is potentially the worst idea I ever heard
Why would you make an already slow simulation even Slower?
Basically
Make everything harder without any rewards
Yeah, even I wouldn't do it tbh
Well, it's settled then. If you won't do it, nobody will
Right now, I'm done with Beyond and prestiging every two days or so on Meso. When I'm done with that, I'll head back to primary I guess. I can then fill up the constellations and get the 200 dino achievements, but those are sit around and wait goals. If I enjoy rebuilding from scratch, primary is the only option, but even there, it won't happen often.
My idea uses mostly existing code so it wouldn't be as hard to implement as other ideas and gives people a reason to play the game, even after they are "done". The no rewards part is important because some people who are done want to stay done. There would be no pressure on them to grind endlessly.
If you're prestiging every 2 days, either you're really close to max, or have no life
I get the idea, but making the unfinished beyond harder is too much
Just wait for prestige then
Plus, you can just make a new account and restart that way
Plus, there's the idea of hardcore prestige already
Would you even still do hardcore prestige @woven aurora?
Well, I wouldn't suggest something if I wouldn't be willing to do it
I was hoping the no benefits part of my idea would make people not care if it was implemented or not, but apparently its mere existence pushes some buttons.
I'll retract my suggestion, but modify it on the way out. Don't increase the cost of Beyond, but do let it be reset. No achievements would be gained, but it could still be farmed for rare/epic cards and darwinium.
Hardcore Prestige seems like a good alternative for Meso.
But you suggested it a while ago, so I was thinking it's possible you'd no longer put in the effort
Hardcore prestige would also work for beyond once prestige is there
Well, it's a bad idea considering that not many people would do it because it wouldn't be enjoyable anyway, but I would still do it if it was added
you are evil
Incredibly false, this isn't a horrible suggestion
robust siding with quarter at any given time:
Nah, it's the suggestion, trust
Oh wait you don't have that, nvm
I didn't want the display message to be "you are evil"
I'll make it something neutral
This is basically a second type of metabit, but for discount
Can I see how many times have i been #1 in tournament, or at least top 5? If not, i hope they'd add it like badges.
remove acheivements from this too, we should still be able to get that quick burst everytime we get enough
You mean time flux?
It was being abused, so it had to be limited, and it's still very fair
oh and you better give us darwinium
Wdym
late response sorry but i mean the reward for achievements
quick question : what happens to the birds branch?
