When you rank up anything in Beyond there's a small vertical line to the left of the bar. I recorded a clip showing this. As I ranked up a bunch you can see the line. Not sure if this is beta specific. I just noticed this today, but it's possible it's been around earlier.

I was referring to the small line on the left. In your screenshot it's present on Europa. There's a vertical blue line net to the rounded blue line

It's actually the same line, it starts a bit before the regular blue bar and goes across it, wiping the text, ect.
