When I logged into the game, the starting cutscene began to play. The menu was still there though, along with all my things.
I've heard many other people were having their progress deleted, so I just closed the game in fear that it may happen to me if I continued.
(Context: latest version, mobile, Samsung, NOT in beta).

I will try, hopefully it doesn't reset my progress
I did, and the following hapened:
Most of the UI re-appeared while the cutscene was playing
Trying to avoid getting my progress deleted like other people have reported, I quickly went to Mesozoic Valley (the menu button wasn't there for some reason)
I then went back to main sim. Everything was back to normal, including the menu button.
I checked the version and it's 18_43
