Today when the philosophy event ended, I've remained in the tab with the button to enter the event. I've waited until the countdown reached 0 sec, and then it went on with negative numbers, then i clicked on "Let's go" and i went into the fungi event, that hasn't started yet, and I can progress on it

No, not cheating, this is testing. It's cheating if it's exploited, and the only way to "exploit" this is starting the event early, which only is an advantage of you'd be otherwise unable to complete it. Still, code should be added to patch the edge case, so that it isn't exploited or made common to use.
