Unsure if it matters, but loading into the event it took a little while connecting and said so. Loaded in super zoomed in, the only button I could press was doubling the offline progress to 5T. After that it said connecting for too long so I closed the game and went back in to this.

I had a bug at the start of the event where I started with offline earnings of about 400k, but this is bigger

I had the same issue and very similar symptoms (said had trouble connecting, huge zoomed-in screen). I had the 4x darwinium booster running as well. This is the PC version, and I don't run the game on any other platform. Somewhat sad to have already completed the event (but not so sad that I'm unhappy to have the badges!).
