same thing happened here, mine is also now 46000 or so
same has happend to me as well mine was at 7 million in total mined and no its at 40000 don't know why
Mine went from 230 trillion total production to 2 trillion

We are currently hard at work a major retuning/rebalancing on the primary simulation so we can add more content in the near future. Because of this we are currently adjusting some of the Metabit Production numbers so this is expected. You will still be able to unlock all Reality Engine/Primary Sim and earn all the achievement currently in game, this will only affect your endgame metabit earnings. Afaik, some people have 0 entropy income after the update, is it related to this, or not?
We just fixed the bug on steam, if you download the latest update, it should be fixed.
Is this fix also incorporated in the Android platform release 17_50?
I reboot my simulation when i reach double and i was near that… is it logical to have a 471.01 increase for a 42day, 14 hours simulation… I don’t see any patch notes talking about this rebalance how our speed is reduced by what fraction. Did i just lost 42ish days of simulation speed increase? by all the people writing every body got cap to 46 millions? i’m running 17_50

Yes but it's not a bug, they are rebalancing generator production in preparation for future updates
Won't this completely kill the rankings? As in, people that had the chance to earn massive amounts of metabits with the old balance will be impossible to pass as a new player

I see that a redemption code (SQUID) was put out for anyone who may have lost progress. But what about those of us on ios who don’t have a “redeem code” button available to us? Is there any way we can access the redemption code too? Thanks

Devs are rebalancing the main sim and i think that they meant to decrease multiplier bonus from resetting

Yes, it is due to their rebalancing, but what ecromancer was saying above is that it’s not properly “balanced” if everyone is at 46k production rate if everyone is on a different main sim reset level with varying amounts of megabits. Am I not seeing something here?
Some people have 45k, some even less
I think that devs just ridiculously reduced the multiplier in the end game, that's why many people have similar multiplier
Maybe, but it doesn’t make sense that I’d go from 6.5mil to 46k and someone else who was at 500mill would also be at around 46K. Even if you give or take a grand the ratio doesn’t add up. Unless I missed something 🤷🏻♂️

Went from 80t metabitz and 86000 production multi to 26t and 40000 production 💀
Idea tree buff is certainly a very good idea, though, devs probably wanna expand it so that's why they don't put powerful upgrades here so when they add those new things, people won't unlock them in a second
Regardless of how the devs nerf the production rate, shouldn’t it be at an equal % value? Not just cut everyone down to the same production range? Some people I’m sure have been working hard at getting their production rates as high as they did and now they’re dropped down to the same level of progress that newer people are at?
There are also people that exceeded 9.9e15 total metabits produced, and was downgraded to 9.9e13, so even after leaderboard will be reset most active players will be most punished. And people that farmed 9e15 metabits will be on top of leaderbord (behind cheaters ofc). In any case it was a very strange decision to cut down production the way devs did it.

It happened to me twice. Two resets in one month. Frustrating at least.
At what Metabit total value did the reset happen? The devs had indicated that the issue has been resolved in 17_50 version of the game.
Just crossing the 1e16 threshold. I know I've been too gready and I should've stopped at 9e15 but the devs told me that the issue was resolved.
