Apologies if this has already been reported or addressed but this happens frequently enough to be inconvenient because if you close the game and reopen, the double boost offline timer resets. I'm on newest Android OS. And it's not really a huge deal for lower amounts, but when the amounts get larger the double boost makes a bug difference. And yes I can still use the paid currency but for the newer or free players, this may be a larger problem. I'll attach a photo of what I'm talking about. This also happens in Beta and Release versions of the game in Google play.
Side note, the grayed out box also happens when boosting in events/mesazoic/the beyond areas too. I have found not logical pattern for it as of yet. It's completely random. Also when watching some of the ads, they freeze and the timers reset as well for offline activity. So this can be super frustrating in the timed events especially.
It doesn't happen all the time but as I said, often enough for me to report and hopefully get a fix at some point. No rush ^_^
