I can’t collect metabits i have been playing for hours and didn’t collect metabits. I unlock singularity and only give me 2 metabits, but when i use them it doesn’t collect any more. I tried refreshing the simulation and it doesn’t work.

Your multiplier is at x1.25, which probably means you're quite new to this game. Megabits don't collect that quickly, as your multiplayer is low.
This isn't a bug, you're just a beginner, as you unlock more progress you'll start seeing metabits accumulating
Reboot your simulation and buy upgrades to increase multiplier, then after some reboots you'll start seeing fast metabit collection
