I tapped Electronic after unlocking it, and the room spun until I was facing the Darwinium vault. Couldn’t spin until the sequence ended.
Looks like I hit the Transfer button, but it rotated.

Trade-off, I can’t access Philosophy when it comes up unless I ditch the Beta.

Yes. It's not a bug, it's an animation feature. Whenever you click on transfer, it spins towards the Darwinium machine.

Now it’s stopped doing it and just gives me money. Was it supposed to not rotate at some point?

It spins only until the bar is full, which is 2 complete transfers. After that it doesn't spin.

Once the bar is full, it just starts giving you one minute worth of that currency.
