Just came back yesterday and started the event, but my Octovician and Denovian Extinction events won't let me buy them. I meet the Luca and cost requirements. They just have large red triangles with exclamation marks on them.

Not really an important bug or whatever but just wanted to point it out. I did simulation crash, and then my first reset after that it says I reset 12 times. I... did not lol. Im currently on sim 14 but it's only my third one haha. Idk what happened.
