As it says in the image, there's no way to send my token from the game, without nitro

Another user, @finite wolf appears to have the same issue. Discord force closes upon sending the command sometimes

My message is not too long (just barely - 1992 characters for the new one) - but it did force close discord when sent to the #🎭-semblance channel

#

old one was 1970, <@&794049162114891787> did not respond to my DMs (I sent both new and old there), seemingly nothing happened, "Link Discord" button does nothing

@molten grove @finite wolf I'm aware of this issue, it's been planned to be fixed for some time but I've been having some delays to getting the change in. Sorry for the issues you're dealing with. Also, the crashes just sounds like you may either have an outdated app (or maybe old device)

#

or discord is just being silly

Thanks, no rush, a minimal issue for sure

I'm on Android 12 and I know all my apps are up to date (as I've been checking for the Cells update 😉 ), must be discord being silly if anything. But yeah, it's not a high priority

The character limit is for messages and not for commands. When you copy paste a big command, it says it's a long message and you need Nitro, because it thinks it's a "message". I had that problem too.
But all you have to do is make it realise it's a command. All commands start with a forward slash.

#

Once you copy the command, you need to take the cursor towards the forward slash in the beginning of the command. The command here starts with "/link". Go to that, wait for Discord to detect "/link". Once it does that, it'll show up as a command and you'll see a pop up which says player ID. Click on it and it'll automatically detect player ID from your command.

#

Then go to the "player token" part of the command and it'll show a pop up of "player token". Click on that and it'll automatically detect player token. And you're done.
It's difficult to understand,, but I'll try to get some screenshots of how I did it.

#

There's another method:

Type /link and then select player ID. Then press the email ID you used to create an account in the game. Then click on Player token. Then select the player token part of the command you copied from the game and paste it there and you're done.

#

There's two parts to the command: player ID and player token.

#

Copy the player ID and player token separately. Alternatively, you can just use your game account email ID instead of player ID.

#

Anything which is part of command should appear in a black background, like you see the word "playerid" above. If it doesn't, mostly not going to work.
So, instead of just copy + pasting, make sure it detects your command before sending the message.

oh, damn, so people kept giving me wrong details beforehand when I asked if they actually tried to send it as the command format instead of just as a message kek
