It's not yet automated (level 26) but I have upgraded the cards a couple times. Bug or feature? Not sure.

aah i think i know what's going on. @sullen marsh right now you are on a rank that the t-rex common cards not been unlocked yet, however because you are on a prestige, rare and epic cards are not resetted, so you still have those card affecting your t-rex generator.
